A scaffold is only as good as the care taken in planning, building and checking it. Safety is not a box we tick at the end of a job; it shapes every decision from the first site visit to the day we take it down.

Independently accredited
We hold CHAS Standard certification (membership no. 163226) and are an SSIP Approved Contractor under CDM, meaning our health and safety management has been independently assessed against UK health and safety law and is recognised across the construction industry.

Planned before we arrive
Every job has its own risk assessment and method statement, prepared before work begins and backed by our company health and safety policy.

Built to industry standards
Our scaffolds are erected by an experienced team led by an advanced scaffolder with more than twenty-six years in the trade, with edge protection and brick guards fitted wherever the work demands.

Ties tested, not assumed
The anchors holding each scaffold to the building are pull tested with our own equipment in line with NASC TG4 guidance, with a written record for your site file.

Inspected and handed over
Every scaffold is inspected before handover and a handover certificate is provided. It must then be inspected at least every 7 days and after bad weather. Inspections for the first 14 days are included in our price.

Protecting the public
Sites are secured with fencing and signage, debris netting and chutes keep materials contained, and protective handrails are fitted wherever people could be at risk.

We hold £10 million public liability insurance, giving homeowners, contractors and public bodies complete peace of mind.

We are an appointed scaffolding contractor to Berneslai Homes, maintaining Barnsley Council homes, where standards of safety are rightly exacting.
